Description
We are seeking a talented System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's systems infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the company's systems meet the highest standards of reliability, availability, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's systems infrastructure.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
- Troubleshoot system problems and provide technical support to end-users.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Work closely with software developers and other cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
- Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for future improvements.
- Monitor system performance and ensure that the systems are operating within established SLAs.
- Ensure that the systems meet all security and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the systems infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of server and storage systems, networking technologies, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
