Technical Associate Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Associate Project Manager to join our team. The Technical Associate Project Manager will work closely with our project management team to support and oversee technical projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication abilities.

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of technical projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements, define objectives, and establish project plans.
  • Coordinate project resources, tasks, and schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues or delays.
  • Track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and key decisions.
  • Support the implementation of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors, suppliers, and contractors for project-related services or products.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, workflows, and project outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in project management or coordination, preferably in a technical or IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile or other iterative development methodologies is a plus.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is desirable but not required.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
